It's been way too long since I've thrown a Hamilton reference in the mix.
That's hard to look at. So much carpet. So many drop ceilings. Could more than 1.5 people even fit in that room to eat dinner?
Looking back at these Before pictures is the only thing that keeps me sane sometimes. It's so easy to get caught up in projects and have the mindset that you'll never make enough progress to feel accomplished. But my god. The fact that we still need an area rug and to finish painting some trim seems so minor - almost too easy - when I look at the Before picture.
Here's what's in the room now:

And yeah, the fact that we're alive is a miracle.
