The Doors of Lawrenceville
After searching all of the internet for front door inspiration, I finally took to the mean streets of Lawrenceville to see what my neighbors were doing with their entry ways. It was no surprise to see all sorts of interesting looks - red, yellow, a surprising amount of purple, and some very solid stain jobs.
These were taking mostly on 42nd Street and on Main Street between Penn and Butler while I walked down the hill to either eat at Smoke or to take a bag full of tacos home from Smoke.
I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to doors. At one point, I thought yellow was the way to go, but didn't want to look like an overzealous Steelers fan.
Something I noticed, which I'm so curious about, is the number of painted brick houses in the neighborhood. Isn't plain red brick the best brick? But props to the houses below for coordinating so well:
