Happy Anniversary

Today is the anniversary of two things. First, it's the one year anniversary of our closing date on this house. Second, it's the one year anniversary of when Dan asked me to marry him. Spoiler alert: I said yes.

That's a picture of us with our awesome real estate agent, Julie Snider, who was kind enough to bring a selfie stick along to our final walk through the day before we closed.

To celebrate surviving one year, we're getting a brand new ceiling installed today!

What a difference a year makes. I'm scrounging up some before and after photos for your viewing pleasure, so stay tuned. Lots of baby steps, but steps nonetheless.

Happy anniversary to Dan and to this house, but not to the brown paint coating every inch of everything inside.
