Old Mans

This weekend, thanks to a surprise snow storm, was dedicated to staying inside, drinking Manhattans, and drilling holes into the walls.

The first step to any home improvement project is to make yourself a Manhattan. Dan calls his version an Old Man because it's a Manhattan with an orange peel in it.

Bourbon in our bodies, I measured twice and Dan drilled once to get some coat hangers up on the walls. It is winter, after all.

For those interested, these are the Blecka stainless steel hooks from Ikea.

Hooks hung, we patted ourselves on the back and thought about mounting some frames to the walls, but it was snowing and we were out of anchors. Fortunately, the bourbon was fully stocked.
